New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Leroy Joseph Flores, Age 69, at 11:30AM Friday January 11, 2008 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Jimmy Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in St. Michaels Mausoleum in St. Martinville. Visitation will be Thursday January 10, 2008 from 3:00PM until 10:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Friday from 8:00AM until service time. He died Tuesday January 8, 2008 at 6:55PM in a local hospital.

A native of Iberia Parish Mr. Flores was a resident of St. Martinville. He enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with his family. He was a tanker man for Cenac Towing Co. for more than 31 years.

Survivors include one daughter; Sheila R. Barrilleaux and husband Ronald of New Iberia, one brother; Roy Flores and wife Barbara of New Iberia, two granddaughters; Brooke B. Richard and husband Brent and Misti Rose Barrilleaux all of New Iberia, a great great granddaughter Mallory Lauren Richard also of NewIberiaand his loving pet Dexter. He was preceded in death by his wife; Mary Rose Johnson Flores, parents; Joseph and Alida Hulin Flores, two brothers; Elmo and Ulgier Flores and three sisters; Aileen Flores, Bertha Johnson and Gloria Dupuy.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
