.Lafayette " Funeral Services will be held at the David Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Louis Homer Dupuy, age 73, on January 11, 2008 at 2:00PM. Visitation will be held on January 10, 2008 from 10:00AM until service time on January 11, 2008 in the Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Noah Langly and Bishop Joel Broussard. Interment will follow at St. Anne Cemetery in Youngsville.

Mr. Dupuy a native of Patterson and a resident of Youngsville passed away on January 8, 2008 at his residence in Youngsville. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to all he ever met.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Daisy Autin Dupuy of Youngsville; children, Susanna Justilian of Morgan City, Lisa Hebert of Denham Springs, Cindy Aucoin of Belle River, Elizabeth Harrison of Burlison, Tennessee, Patty Lyons of Lafayette, Louis Dupuy, Jr. of Morgan City, Earline Dupuy of Youngsville and Elaine Dupuy of Youngsville. Mr. Dupuy also has 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; siblings, Homer Dupuy of Berwick, George Dupuy of Morgan City, William Dupuy of Patterson, Pat Broussard of Franklin, Ann Frances of Opelousas, and Lynn Rogers of Jeanerette.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer Joseph and Flavia Landry Dupuy; son Huey Dupuy; daughter, Donna Hodges and great-granddaughter, Justice Lovell.

Pallbearers will be Louis Dupuy, Jr., Tippy Lovell, Chad Lovell, A.J. Hebert, III, Lynwood Aucoin, Jr., Sidney Pillaro, Jr. Kaleb Ardoin, and Homer Dupuy .

Honorary pallbearers will be Edmond Hodges, Roderick Jeanise, Roger Stevens and Jeremy Istre.
