Daniel Louis Soirez

Erath " Memorial Services will be conducted for Daniel Louis Soirez, 67, on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 2:00PM at David Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Farley Painter officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, beginning at 4:00PM until 10:00PM, with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Thursday, August 13, 2009 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. A native and resident of Erath, Mr. Soirez passed away at 6:20PM on Monday, August 10, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Soirez was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved spending time with his family. He was an honorary member of the Erath Fire Department. Daniel modeled his life after his savior and was a lifelong carpenter as Jesus was. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Touchet Soirez of Erath; two sons Jimmy Soirez and his wife Charlene, and Jude Soirez and his wife Becky both of Erath; one daughter Linda Soirez Cormier and her husband Mike; five grandchildren, Rachael, Emily, Morghan, and Jadon Soirez and Weston Touchet Cormier; one sister Delores S. LeBlanc; and one brother, Edwin Soirez He was preceded in death by his parents, Saul Soirez and Melia Soirez Soirez; and two brothers, Saul Soirez Jr. and Curtis Soirez Pallbearers will be family and friends.
