Ruby Menard Hebert

Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Harry Hebert the former Ruby Menard, 76, will be at 11:00AM on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Paul Broussard officiating. Visitation will be at David funeral home of Erath on Friday, September 11, 2009 from 3:45PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, September 12, 2009 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.

A native of Crowley and a resident of Erath Mrs. Hebert died at 10:59PM on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at a New Iberia Nursing Home.

She is survived by a son, Raymond Anthony Longee and his wife Annett of Erath; four daughters, Yvette Moore and her husband Kevin of Coteau, Laurie Bergeron and her husband Bradley of Lydia, Liz Touchet and her husband Steve of Erath, and Russella Maturin of Coteau; a sister, Margie McBride and her husaband Charles of Crowley; two brothers, Vincent Menard and his wife Marie of Lake Charles and Warren Menard and his wife Anne of Opelousas, thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Hebert; her parents Walton and Vivian LeBleu Menard and Eunice Breaux and Lackey Stewart.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Dusty Moore, Ryne Moore, Chris Hebert, Spencer Roy, Raymond Longee, Jr., and Nicholas Bergeron.

David Funeral Home of Erath at 209 E. Putnam St. (337)937-0405 will be handling the arrangements .
