Lafayette " A Mass of Christian Burial for Theodore Ted J. Touchet, 80, will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at St. Anne Catholic Church with Fr. Jason Mouton officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Friday, November 30, 2007 from 12:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, December 1, 2007 from 8:00AM until the time of the services.Interment will follow at the St. Anne Cemetery.

Mr. Ted, a native of Abbeville and a resident of Youngsville died at 9:27AM on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Lafayette Heart Hospital. He enjoyed woodworking, camping, fishing, cooking, and traveling. Mr. Touchet was a member of a large family and had several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Angeline Mary Fanguy Touchet of Youngsville; a daughter, Linda and her husband Steven Lampman of Lafayette; two grandchildren, Amy Jain of Lafayette, and Erich Lampman of Lafayette, three great grandchildren, Mark Leon of Lafayette, Lorynn Lejeune Lampman of Maurice, and Taryn Lejeune Lampman of Maurice; three step sons, Daniel Wilks of Winnsboro, John Adams of Monroe, and Cleve Wilks of Houston, TX; two step daughters, Edna Thompson of Scott City, MO and Hester Adams of Vicksburg, MS and eleven step grandchildren..

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Steven Lampman, Erich Lampman, Travis Hunter, Lyndsey Hunter, Cleve Wilks, and John Adams.
