New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Antoine Beb Savoy, the former Nettie Jumonville, 93, at 10:00 AM Thursday, April 3, 2008 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery.

Visitation will be observed Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:30 PM at David Funeral Home of Jeanerette. Visitation will resume Thursday April 3, 2008 from 8:00 AM until the time of service.

A native of Iberia Parish and a resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Savoy died at 10:40 PM Monday, March 31, 2008, at Iberia Extended Health Care Hospital.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Savoy was a sales clerk at Weill's Department Store and Wormser's Department Store. She also worked at Greyhound Bus Station in Jeanerette and worked at Joe's Drive Inn. Mrs. Savoy loved volunteering at the Social Service Center in Jeanerette and Maison Teche Nursing Home. She enjoyed going to the casino and playing Bingo.

She is survived by her sister, Mable Baio of Houma; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Savoy was preceded in death by his husband, Antoine Beb Savoy; parents, Coulom and Theresa Garcia Jumonville; and brothers, Ernest Jumonville, Sr., Walter Jumonville, Sr. and Paul Jumonville.

Pallbearers will be family members.
