Walter F. Reinhart

May 20, 1920 — December 2, 2007

Lafayette- Walter F. Reinhart went home to the house of our Lord on December 2, 2007 at the age of 87. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 2:00PM at the funeral home chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00PM until time of service. Reinhart is survived by his wife of 65 years, Charlotte, his four children, Cassie, Denise, Char-Lene and Reffett, and his sister, Lilian. Known to his 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren as Gramps , Reinhart touched all of those in his life in many ways. He was a businessman, a musician, a writer, a teacher, a devout Christian, and above all, beloved by all who knew him. Born in 1920 in Peoria, Illinois, Reinhart met his loving wife in 1940. They became husband and wife in 1942. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, that those who believe in him may not perish, but may have life everlasting. David Funeral Home of Lafayette will be handling arrangements.
