Annamae Haynes Matthews

March 2, 1914 — December 4, 2007

Lafayette- Funeral Services will be held for AnnaMae Haynes Matthews, 93, on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 10:00AM at David Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Bill Crumbly officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM, with a recitation of the rosary at 6:30PM, and will continue on Thursday, December 6, 2007 from 8:00AM until time of service. Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Matthews, a native of Franklin and a resident of Broussard, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at 7:50AM at a Broussard nursing home. She loved to fish with her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Joseph Robert Kubelka of Destrehan; a daughter, Hazel Fuselier of Youngsville; 13 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Matthews; her parents, Henry Barrilleaux and Catherine Ardeneaux Barrilleaux; and her son, Weston Henry Haynes. Pallbearers will be William Fuselier, Joseph Fuselier, Bobby Joe Kubelka, Brian Kubelka, Danny Bordeaux and Kristian Kubelka.
