New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Freddie Joseph Badeaux, Age 86, at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 13, 2007 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Denton officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Coteau. Visitation will begin Wednesday, December 12, 2007 from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM and will resume Thursday, December 13, 2007 from 8:00 AM until the time of service at David Funeral Home. A native of Youngsville and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Badeaux died at 4:40 PM Monday, December 10, 2007, in a New Iberia hospital. Mr. Badeaux enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Nina LeBoeuf Allen Badeaux of New Iberia; daughter, Vernice B. Bourque and fiancee Frank Moose Sierra of New Iberia; sons, Elias J. Badeaux and wife Judy T. of Denham Springs, and John Badeaux and wife Mary Lou of New Iberia; step-daughter, Faye Allister and husband Woody of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi; brother, Wiley Badeaux of Jeanerette; sisters, Gussie Poirrier, Anna Mae Blanchard and Jo Ann Tyler, all of New Iberia; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. Mr. Badeaux was preceded in death by his first wife, Celesta Frederick Badeaux; parents, Otto and Eva Romero Badeaux; sisters, Vernice and Eula Mae Badeaux; and brothers, Williams, Raymond, Lotto and Clarence Badeaux. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Marcomb, Alaina Marcomb, Brittney, Elizabeth, Victoria and Trey Watson, Christopher Collins, Celesta Collins, Hunter Gathe, Kaleb Gathe and Connie Delcambre.
