"Beloved Wife and Mother" Erath " Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Relie Reaux, the former Rita Touchet, age 87, at 11:00AM on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath with Fr. Wayne Duet and Fr. Herb Bennifield officiating, with musical selections rendered by Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Choir. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 from 2:30PM until 9:00PM and will resume on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from 8:00AM until the time of services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at 7:00PM. A native of Vermilion Parish and a resident of Erath, Mrs. Reaux passed away at Abbeville General Hospital, on Sunday, March 30, 2008 at 5:00PM. She was a devoted wife & homemaker and loved her grandchildren and family. She loved to cook and bake and was co-owner of Tee Coes Drive Inn in Erath for years. She is survived by her two daughters Deanna R. Sandoz and her husband Charles of Erath, and Manique R. LeBlanc and her husband Steven of Abbeville; two sons Relie J. Reaux and his wife Merlyn of Erath and Gerald J. Reaux and his wife Katie of Delcambre; two sisters Rosy Thibodeaux of Delcambre, and Stella Landry of Broussard; thirteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren, as well as her devoted care taker Faye Dronet of Erath. She is preceded in death by husband, Relie Reaux; parents, Sevenier Touchet and Victoria Romero Touchet; two brothers, Evest Touchet and Villy Touchet ; and one granddaughter, Alexandra LeBlanc. Serving as pallbearers will be Derek Sandoz, Alex LeBlanc, Steven LeBlanc, Troy Brasseaux, Tyler Brasseaux,Wayne Touchet, Gerald Reaux and Relie Reaux. Gift bearers will be Courtney Brasseaux, Ann Catherine LeBlanc, Victoria LeBlanc and Nicholas LeBlanc. David Funeral Home of Erath will be handling the arrangements.
