Elaine Saintes Boutte

October 2, 1928 — August 13, 2009

New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Sidney P. Boutte, Sr. the former Elaine Saintes, Age 80, at 2:00PM Saturday August 15, 2009 at St. Peters Catholic Church with Father Charles Langlois officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum. Visitation will be Friday August 14, 2009 from 5:00PM until10:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume Saturday from 8:00AM until service time.

A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Boutte died Thursday August 13, 2009 at 8:09PM in a local hospital. She was a member of St.Peters Catholic Church.

Survivors include one son, Neal Ray Boutte and one daughter, Patricia B. Jenkins and husband Hardy all of New Iberia; grandchildren, Kenneth Jenkins and wife Jackie, Glen Jenkins, Michael Jenkins and wife Viki, Jennifer Baudry and husband Chad, Macey Boutte, Michelle Clark and husband Paul, Marcia and Melanie Boutte and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney P. Boutte, Sr.; parents, Bernard J Saintes, Sr. and Leopauldine Songe Saintes; one son, Allen Paul Boutte, two brothers, Bernard J. Saintes, Jr. and Harold J. Saintes; sisters, Josephine S. Seals, Hester S. Slampa, Louise S. Palique, Marie S. LeFevre, Leopauldine Walker, Antoinette Akers, Rose Felps, Margerette Fontenot, Catherine Leducke and Laura Delaune.

Pallbearers will be family members.
