Saymar Cigar Gary,Jr. New Iberia-Funeral services for Saymar Cigar Gary, Jr. age 56, will be conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday December 20, 2008 in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Ed Degeyter officating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visiting hours will be observed Friday December 19, 2008 from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm the funeral home will reopen Saturday December 20, 2008 at 8:00 am until services. A rosary will be recited in the funeral home Friday December 19, 2008 at 6:30 PM A native of Orange, Texas and a resident of New Iberia, Saymar died at 8:55 am Monday December 15, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Gary was an avid pool player and enjoyed sports. He was employed as office manager for Cajun Sugar Cooperative for 33 years. He is Survived by his sister: Dortien Gary Ford and her husband Wesley of Orangefield, Texas 1 niece: Priscilla Ford of Port Arthur, Texas 1 great niece: Kerissa Harrington of Orangefield, Texas 4 god children: Brittany Marceaux, Chad Bourque, Todd Viator, Nicole Credeur. Mr. Gary was preceded in death by his parents: Saymar and Zeolide Gary, Sr. 1 niece: Amanda Ford.
