Youngsville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville, on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 2:00PM, for Mr. Jose Ramon Diz, Sr. age, 98 who passed away in Youngsville on March 2, 2008 at 7:00AM in Youngsville. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 9:30AM and continue until service time. Fr. Jason Mouton will be officiating. Interment will follow at St. Anne Cemetery. A native of Havana, Cuba, Mr. Diz was a longtime resident of Youngsville. Survivors include his son, Jose Ramon Diz, Jr. and his wife Adarelis of Youngsville; grandson, Jose Ramon Diz, III of Youngsville; granddaughter, Adarelis Diz of Lafayette; two sisters, Maria Oliva Diz and Maria Guillermina Diz both of Havana, Cuba. Mr. Diz is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Ramon Diz Maqueira and Delores Arijon De La Feuntes Diz. Pallbearers will be Jose Diz, Jr., Jose Diz, III, Maleno Pulido, Adarelis Diz, Lionel Duhon and Isaac Arias.
