Hazel Winch Delcambre

December 22, 1925 — February 10, 2008

Abbeville- Services for Hazel Winch Delcambre, 82, will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at 3:00PM at David Funeral Home Chapel with Minister John Vining officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2008 from 2:00AM until time of service. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Mrs. Delcambre, a native and resident of Abbeville, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at 12:15AM at a Lafayette hospital. She was a member of Abbeville United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, Kevin Delcambre of Abbeville and Ryan Delcambre of Oriental, NC; a daughter, Peggy Delcambre Hebert of Abbeville; a sister, Barbara Schaffer of Minden, LA; five grandchildren, Jill Lemaire of Lafayette, Gregory Hebert of Abbeville, Leah Hebert of Berwick, LA, Phillip Delcambre of Sterling Heights, MI and Leslie Garry of Richmond, VA; and five great grandchildren, Sarah Lemaire, Jonathan Lemaire and Noah Gregory Hebert all of Lafayette, Currin Peck of Midland, MI and Landon Scott Garry of Richmond, VA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer Delcambre; her parents, Luther Lewis Winch, Sr. and Margaret Guidry Winch; and two brothers, Luther Lewis Winch, Jr. and Benjamin Franklin Winch II.
