Loving Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister and Aunt

Loreauville " Funeral Services will be conducted for Rebecca Marie Becky Doucet Darby, Age 38, at 11:00AM Saturday March 8, 2008 at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Father Buddy Breaux officiating. Interment will follow in St. Josephs Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday March 7, 2008 starting at 11:00AM. The funeral home will remain open all night. A Rosary will be prayed Friday at 7:00PM.

A native of Loreauville Becky was a resident of Erath. She loved horses, motorcycles, camping and fishing.

Survivors include her loving companion of 15 years; Troy Sonnier of Erath, one daughter; Meagan Darby of New Iberia, one step son; Blake Sonnier of Youngsville, her father; Jerry Doucet of Cecilia, her mother and dad; Loretta Prados Guidry and George Guidry of New Iberia, four sisters; Tammy Doucet and companion Peggy Pennison of Port Barre, Trudy Trahan and husband Matt of Kaplan, Natalie Broussard and husband Scotty of New Iberia and Katina Doucet of Lafayette, two brothers; Bart Doucet of Loreauville and Toby Doucet and wife Jennifer of Cecilia, one nephew; Blake Doucet of New Iberia, five nieces; Jamie David, Tori Doucet, Gabriella Broussard and baby girl Broussard arriving in July all of New Iberia and Janie Doucet of Cecilia, her paternal grandfather Joseph Guidry of St. Martinville and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; Robert Lee and Lucille Prados, her paternal grandparents; Alexander and Tessie Doucet and her paternal grandmother Beulah Guidry.

Pallbearers will be Bart Doucet, Toby Doucet, Blake Sonnier, Blake Doucet, Matt Trahan and Scotty Broussard. Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Sonnier, Alex Crochet, Ryan Clement, Tammy Doucet, Kevin Darby, Peggy Pennison and Delores Thibodeaux.
