Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Carl Joe LeBlanc, 45, will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, February 11, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Wayne Duet officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Sunday, February 10, 2008 beginning at 3:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Monday, February 11, 2008 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum. Mr. LeBlanc a native and resident of Erath died at 3:00PM on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at Abbeville General Hospital. He was one of the owners of LeBlanc Boat Works LLC and also had his own business drafting and drawing house plans. He was very involved in the Special Olympics; a third degree Knight of Columbus with council # 3872; an avid hunter; loved doing woodworking; and was a jack of all trades. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Pam Dugas LeBlanc of Erath; his parents, Edward E.J. and Gloria Champagne LeBlanc of Erath; two daughters, Heather Marie LeBlanc and Nikki Joell LeBlanc both of Erath; a brother, Carroll Bubba LeBlanc and his Fiance Nancy Pere' of Erath; a sister, Mary Catherine LeBlanc and her husband Leewood LeBlanc of Abbeville; and his mother-in-law, Beverly Blanchard Dugas of St. Martinville. Serving as pallbearers will be Carroll Bubba LeBlanc, Kipp LeBlanc, Carl Broussard, Leewood LeBlanc, Keith LeBlanc, and Glenn Landry. David Funeral Home of Erath at 209 E.
