Lafayette - A Gathering of Remembrance for Guy D. Tuley, 56, will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at The David Funeral Home Chapel of Lafayette. The family and friends will begin to gather at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Saturday, March 15, 2008 beginning at 1:00PM. Family and friends will begin sharing their thoughts and memories of Guy at 2:00PM. After the Gather of Remembrance everyone is invited to the home of Robert and Lana Michalk at 100 W. Shamrock Dr. Lafayette, LA.

Mr. Tuley a native of Pampa, TX and a resident of Lafayette died at 1:11AM on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at his residence. He was an avid camper, loved music, and was known for his love of life. He was employed with National Oilwell for over 34 years. His career gave him the opportunity and privilege to travel around the world and make many friends.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Nancy Sherwin Tuley of Lafayette; four sons, Charles Chuck Tuley of Broussard, Bob Dapogny of Tomball, TX, Tom Dapogny of Grand Junction, CO, and Jim Dapogny of Denver, CO; a daughter, Jessica Tuley of Woodbridge, VA; four grandchildren, Cassie Hewlings of Boulder, CO, Kyle Holman of Woodbridge, VA, Grayson Geiger of Conifer, CO, and Hailey Tuley of Broussard; his parents, Ancil D. and Rhynah Apple Tuley of Broussard; and a sister, Lana Michalk of Lafayette.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations be made in Guys name to Heart of Hospice at 101 Park West Dr. Scott, LA 70583.

David Funeral Home of Lafayette at 316 Youngsville Hwy (337)837-9887 will be handling the arrangements.
