Antoine L. Oliva

Erath " Funeral Services for Mr. Antoine L. Oliva, 89, will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at The David Funeral Home Chapel of Erath with Fr. Bennifield officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 beginning at 11:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Our lady of Lourdes Cemetery.

Mr. Oliva a native of Vermilion Parish and a resident of Erath died at 1:36PM on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Abbeville General Hospital. He is known for his love of gardening, french music, and dancing.

He is survived by two daughters, Deanna Oliva Lancon and Delores Oliva Landry both of New Iberia; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Loignon Oliva; his parents, Odeous and Elita Picard Oliva; two sons, Loveless and James Emery Oliva; two brothers, Otto and Alva Oliva; and two sisters, Velta Oliva LeBlanc and Louise Bernice Oliva.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ray Oliva, Brody Lancon, Cody Trahan, George Alleman,Roy Trahan, and Don Domingue.
