New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. L. Bill Bonin, Sr., the former Daisy Verret, Age 87, at 3:00PM Wednesday August 15, 2007 at St. Peters Catholic Church with Father Charles Langlois officiating. Interment will be in St. Helens Cemetery in Louisa. Visitation will be Tuesday August 14, 2007 from 4:00PM till 9:00PM and again Wednesday August 15, 2007 from 8:00AM till service time. A Rosary will be prayed Tuesday evening at 6:30PM. She died Monday August 13, 2007 at 8:35AM in a local hospital.

A native of Franklin Ms. Daisy had been a resident of New Iberia many years. She loved to say her Rosary and cook.

Survivors include one son, Bill Bonin, Jr. and wife Jan of New Iberia; two grandsons, Bryan Bonin of Houston, Texas and Damon Bonin of New Orleans; two granddaughters, Melanie Tucker and Angela Schaubert both of New Iberia and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, L. "Bill" Bonin, Sr.; two brothers, Melvin and Rev. Mitless Verret and three sisters, Gladys Migues, Lydia Rawlins and Beulah Rawlins.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
