Erath - Memorial services for Mrs. Joyce Marie Duplantis, 54, will be held at a later date. Mrs. Duplantis, a native of Abbeville and a resident of Erath, passed away at Abbeville General Hospital, on Wenesday, February 27, 2008 at 7:20 A.M. Survivors include her three daughters, Consuelo Broussard, April Suire and Dayna Romero, all of Erath; two brothers, Reno Duplantis of Erath and Leo Duplantis of Abbeville;two sisters, Margie Romero and Shirley Choate, both of Erath;six grandchildren, Nicholas Suire, Emily Suire, Caleb Suire, Ashton Romero, Jared Broussard and Collin Broussard, all of Erath; her close family friend Keesha Menard of Lafayette; her son-in-law Jeramie Suire of Erath, and numerous nieces and nephews.
