Rose F. Leblanc

Lafayette - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mrs. Rose Frederick LeBlanc, age 76, on December 19, 2007 at 1:00PM at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, with Father Allen Breaux officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM and will resume on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 from 8:00AM until service time.

Interment will be in St. Bernard #1 Cemetery in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana.

A native of Parks and a resident of Breaux Bridge, Baton Rouge and Youngsville, Mrs. Rose passed away on December 16, 2007 at 4:30PM at Southwest Medical Center in Lafayette.

Survivors include two daughters; Yvette Simon and her husband Ricky of Youngsville and Angie DeShazer and her husband Jesse of Baton Rouge; one son, Randy LeBlanc of Houston, Texas; granddaughters Ashly Hoffpauir and her husband Steven of Carthage, Illinois and Brittany Simon of Youngsville; grandsons Chase DeShazer and Ryan DeShazer both of Baton Rouge; five sisters, Hazel Calais of Breaux Bridge, Evelyna Guidry of Port Allen, Euline Dupuis of Breaux Bridge, Anna Angelle of Breaux Bridge and Edna Calais of Jeffersonville, Indiana; one brother, Lee Frederick of Breaux Bridge.

Rose will also be sorely missed by her Ex-Pow family, her many Friends, Neighbors and Relatives and a very special friend, Mary Alice.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ransdall P. (Joe) LeBlanc; her parents, Hector and Rose Dore Frederick; one brother, Joseph Frederick and one sister Vivian LeBlanc.

Pallbearers will be Randy LeBlanc, Ricky Simon, Jesse DeShazer, Chase DeShazer, Steven Hoffpauir, Mike Lane and Ryan DeShazer.
