Jeanerette "Funeral services will be conducted for Willie J. Hebert, Age 82, at 11:00AM Thursday December 20, 2007 at David Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday December 19, 2007 from 6:00PM until 10:00PM with a Rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Thursday from 8:00AM until service time. He died Wednesday December 19, 2007 at 2:30AM at his residence in Jeanerette. A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette Mr. Willie was Recreational Director for the Ward 8 Recreation Center for 25 years. He loved being with the children at the center. He was also on the Recreation Board and he was a member of the Booster Club. He loved his dog Trouble Survivors include three sons; Barney Hebert and wife Kathy and Daniel Hebert and wife Becky both of New Iberia and Glenn Hebert and wife Tina of Lafayette, two daughters; Sue Bodin and husband Howard of Franklin and Willa Boudreaux and husband Irving of New Iberia, two sisters; Selina Gerami and her husband Robert and Lorena Delcambre Clark both of Jeanerette, two brothers; Cyril Hebert Jr.and his wife Nedia and Patrick Hebert and his wife Vivian both of New Iberia, 12 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife; Nora Guyote Hebertand his parents; Cyril Hebert, Sr. and Odele Hebert Hebert. Pallbearers will be Danny, Glenn and Barney Hebert, James Bodin, Jason Hebert and Justin Hayes. Honorary pallbearers will be Cyril Hebert, Jr. and Patrick Hebert.
