Lafayette " A Mass of Christian Burial, for Mr. Preston Jean Champ Hebert, age 66, will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville with Fr. Wayne Duet officiating, on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 2:00PM. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 11:00AM until 9:00PM, with a rosary at 7:00PM and will resume on Wednesday February 20, 2008 from 8:00AM until services.

A native and resident of Youngsville, Champ passed away on February 18, 2008 at 5:31AM in Kaplan. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World, YMCA, Cajun Culture and also the Youngsville J.C.S. His passion was dancing.

Champ is survived by his special friend, Jean LeMarie of Kaplan; twin-brother, Presley Hebert of Youngsville; brothers, Joseph Whiless Hebert of Youngsville and Howard Hebert of Erath; sisters, Evelyn Romero of Youngsville and Mable Sonnier of Youngsville and also a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Renol and Anna Hebert and one brother Sexton Hebert.

Pallbearers will be Dave Crochet, Hal Romero, Nathan Hebert, Anthony Hebert, Scotty Hebert, Jason Bourque and Ryan Romero.
