New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Kenneth Prather the former Angelina Myers Patton, Age 87, at 10:00AM Monday March 24, 2008 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Paul Neel officiating. Interment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday March 23, 2008 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM and again Monday from 8:00AM until funeral time. She died Friday March 21, 2008 at 12:06AM in a New Iberia Hospital. A native and lifelong resident of Iberia Parish Mrs. Prather was a lunch room manager for the Iberia Parish School System for 32 years. She loved going to Church and was a member of First Assembly of God Church .She served the Lord faithfully since she was 15 years old. Survivors include two step-daughters; Carolyn Dugas and Francis DeBuse both of New Iberia, four grandchildren; Hugh and Kenneth Russell and Kelly and Joseph DeBuse all of New Iberia, six great- grandchildren; Brandon and Brittany Russell, Karlee and Kloe Viator and Joseph DeBuse, Jr. all of New Iberia and Selena Guidry of Youngsville and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her second husband;Kenneth Prather, her first husband Stillwell Patton,parents; Hypolite and Antonia Boudreaux Myers, brothers; Andrew, Bill, Amy, Anthony, Freddie and Sib Myers, sisters; Viola Landry, Beulah Myers and Melda Guillotte. Pallbearers will be Brandon, Kenneth and Hugh Russell, Clifford Myers, T-Bob Landry and Judy Prather. Honorary pallbearers will be Oswald Myers, Mark Duck and Phil DeBuse.
