Loreauville"Funeral services for Mrs. William Coshon Bonin, the former Yvonne Big Mama Simoneaux, 62, will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home. The Reverend Roland Fontenot will officiate.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 from 12:30 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home, and will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home.

Mrs. Bonin passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 10:50 A.M.at her daughters residence.

A native of Bayou Chene and longtime resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Bonin was loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially the Atchafalaya Basin. Her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren, and she looked forward to the birth of her great-grandson, J.J. Baby.

Mrs. Bonin had retired from Ashland Chemical Company, where she was assistant purchasing agent. She spent four years with the Iberia Parish Sheriffs Office as a jail attendant, and had most recently worked as caregiver for Mr. Levie Ronsonet.

Survivors include her husband, William Coshon Bonin of New Iberia; daughter, Dawne Bonin and fianc, David Schexnayder of Loreauville; grandchildren, Kaylin Yvonne Bonin and fianc, Jackie Leroy Francis of Loreauville, Koby William Bonin of Loreauville, and Kaitlyn Michelle Schexnayder of Duson; great-grandson, Jackie Leroy Francis, Jr. of Loreauville; and foster family, Timothy and Diane Da Carlson and family of New Iberia.

Preceding Mrs. Bonin in death were her mother, Edith Curry; brother, Joseph Donald Simoneaux, Jr.; and twin sister, Yvette Simoneaux.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to defray final expenses.

David Funeral Home of Loreauville, 118 Main Street, 229-3883 is in charge of arrangements.
