Jeanerette" A Funeral Mass for Joyce Broussard Boudreaux, 77, will be held on Thursday December 27, 2007 at 10:30AM at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church. The Reverend Ed Degeyter will officiate. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 26, 2007 from 5:00PM to 10:00PM, and will continue on Thursday from 8:00AM until service time in David Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed Wednesday at 6:00PM.

Mrs. Boudreaux passed away on Monday, December 24, 2007 at 12:00 A.M. in a Jeanerette care facility.

Mrs. Boudreaux was a cook for 20 years at Charlies Restaurant in Franklin. She was a person who was loved by everyone.

Survivors include her daughters, Pat Sinitiere of Charenton, Debbie Hebert and husband Rusty of Jeanerette, and Mary Picard and husband Kent of Jeanerette; sons, Joe Boudreaux of Oklahoma, Jimmy (Tax) Boudreaux of Jeanerette, Alvin (T-Boy) Boudreaux of Jeanerette, William (Bill) Boudreaux and wife Denise of Lydia, Ronnie (R.J.) Boudreaux and wife Ann of Jeanerette, and John Boudreaux and wife Karen of Jeanerette; sister, Sherry Darce and husband Dickie of Baldwin; brother, Danny Broussard of Franklin; 19 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Dennis and Lucille Guidry Broussard; and a brother, Gerald Broussard and a son-in-law Sherel Sinitiere.

Serving as pallbearers are Joseph Boudreaux, Jr., Jimmy Boudreaux, Alvin Boudreaux, William Boudreaux, Ronnie Boudreaux, John Boudreaux, Jeffrey Hebert, and Trey Boudreaux. Named as honorary pallbearers are Sherel Sinitiere, Zach Boudreaux, Billy Boudreaux, Cody Boudreaux, Josh Boudreaux, Mason Boudreaux, John Boudreaux, Jr., Kent Picard, Jr., Jacob Picard, Evan Picard, Rusty Hebert, Kent Picard, Sr., Danny Broussard, Corey Robicheaux, and Dickie Darce.
