Warren Paul Stroud

New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Warren Paul Stroud, Age 65, at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Holland officiating. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Memorial Park Cemetery in Jeanerette. Visitation will be Monday, August 11, 2008 from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM andresume onTuesday, August 12, 2008from 8:00 AM until service time.

He died Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 11:50 AM in a Jackson, MS hospital. A native of New Iberia, Mr. Stroud had been living in Brandon; MS. He also served in the Army National Guard. Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by VFW Post 1982 Honor Guard.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Veazey Stroud of Brandon, MS; one son, Darren Stroud and wife Chris of New Iberia; one daughter Tina Meyers and husband Todd of Brandon, MS; his grandchildren, Trent, Trevor and Tori Meyers of Brandon and Abbey Stroud of New Iberia; one sister, Sherry Broussard of Lafayette; three brothers, Gerald, Mike and Kim Joseph Stroud all of Duson, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren Paul Stroud, Sr. and Electa Louviere Stroud.

Pallbearers will be Darren Stroud, Trent Meyers, Trevor Meyers and Mark Guilbeau. Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Stroud, Kim Joseph Stroud, Mike Stroud, Todd Meyers and Walter Schexnayder.
