Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for John Wilson Lyons, 50, will be held at 12:00PM on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Wayne Duet officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Saturday, August 2, 2008 beginning at 8:30AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum. Mr. Lyons, a native of Church Point and resident of Erath, died at 6:30 PM on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at his residence. He was an electrician for Parker Drilling prior to his illness. He is survived by his two sons Eric Lyons and Brody Trahan of Erath; three sisters, Mandy Hebert, Celeste Foster, and Sue Landry of Kaplan; two brothers, Thurman Lyons of Kaplan, and Sherman Lyons of Texas; and two grandchildren, Drake Lyons and Laila Trahan of Erath. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Wilson and Patricia Oxley Lyons; and one brother, Jimbo Lyons. Serving as pallbearers will be Clint Roy, Brody Trahan, Arther Sittig, Lenny Giardelli, Thurman Lyons, Brian Broussard, and Paul Boudreaux. David Funeral Home of Erath at 209 E.
