Gerald Thibodeaux, Sr.

Loreauville " Funeral Services will be conducted for Gerald Pop Thibodeaux Sr., age 63, at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at St. Josephs Catholic in Loreauville with Father Buddy Breaux officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be Monday, August 11, 2008 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:15 PM andresume onTuesday, August 12, 2008from 8:00AM until service time.

He died Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 7:45 AM at his residence in Loreauville.

A native of Loreauville, Gerald had been a resident of Loreauville many years. He was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church in Loreauville.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Romero Thibodeaux of Loreauville; his mother, Gladys Simon Guillotte of Youngsville; three sons, Aaron Thibodeaux of New Iberia, Gerald Thibodeaux Jr. and wife Mary and Jamie P. Thibodeaux all of Loreauville; one daughter, Tammy Borel and husband Burt of St. Martinville; one brother, Russell Thibodeaux and wife Cathy of Lafayette; one sister, Patsy Thibodeaux of St. Martinville; grandchildren, Kayla Thibodeaux and Myra Borel of St. Martinville, and Tayte and Sayrah Thibodeaux both of Loreauville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Thibodeaux; hisbrother, Larry Thibodeaux and his grandchild, Beth Borel.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Jr., Jamie P. and Tayte Thibodeaux, Burt Borel, Jimmy Garbarino and Brandon Hebert.
