Loving Mother & Grandmother New Iberia"A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Donita R. DeeDee Toucheque Hebert, 66, at St. Peters Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 2:00 PM. Reverend Monsignor Richard Greene will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visiting hours will be observed on Monday, March 3, 2008 from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM at David Funeral Home, with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until service time in the funeral home. DeeDee died Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 1:20 PM in a New Iberia hospital. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, DeeDee enjoyed cooking and playing bouree, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Survivors include her longtime friend, Harold P. LeBlanc of New Iberia; sons Ray M. Hebert, Jr. and wife, Phyllis of Orange TX and Ron A. Hebert, and wife, Lesli, of New Iberia; grandchildren, Dusty Welch, Matthew T. Hebert, Nathan J. Hebert, Tory A. Hebert, Ryean S. Hebert, and Sinjin K. Hebert; sisters, Judy T. Segura and husband, Calvin of New Iberia and Debbie T. Wilson and husband, Mike of Jacksonville,FL. Also surviving DeeDee are her longtime friend, Harolds children, Liz Toups and husband, Eddie and their children, Summer Broussard, and Nicole Toups, Barry LeBlanc, Michael LeBlanc, and Mark Wright; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Mathile Louviere Toucheque; twin boys, Rod and Todd Hebert; daughter, Paula Hebert; brothers Elliot and Vernon Toucheque; and sister Claudia T. Segura. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Ray Hebert,Jr., Ron A. Hebert, Matthew Hebert, Nathan Hebert, Barry LeBlanc, and Michael LeBlanc. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tory Hebert, Eddie Toups, Monk Segura, Calvin Segura, Sr., Mike Wilson, and Mark Wright.
