Youngsville - A Prayer Service will be held at David Funeral Home in Youngsville for Mr. Joseph Ozamae Romero, age 91, on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 12:00PM, with Father Jason Mouton officiating. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 9:00AM until services. Interment will follow at St. Anne's Mausoleum. A native of Vermilion Parish and a resident of Youngsville, Mr. Romero passed away at his residence on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 6:55AM. Mr. Romero was a farmer for most of his life and in his later years was a handyman. He is survived by a son, Francis T. Romero of Maurice; a daughter, Lula Mae Faulk of Maurice; a step-daughter, Jane Vice of Youngsville; his best friend, L.J. Vincent and his wife Barbara of Abbeville; 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arcade and Eudea Trahan Romero and his companion, Eunice Vice. Pallbearers will be Nerry Faulk, Jason Faulk, Paul Morrison, David Hilton, Jr., Mark Plaisance and Ricky Wallis. David Funeral Home of Youngsville will be handling the arrangements.
