Lee Dee Ransonet Goellner

Loreauville " Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Edward Bernard Goellner, the former Lee Dee Ransonet, 85, on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Buddy Breaux officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will begin on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 10:00 AM until services and a rosary will be prayed in the funeral home at 11:00 AM.
Mrs. Goellner was a native of Loreauville and a resident of Lafayette for the past 50 years. She owned and operated Ransonet Electrolysis Center and was involved in several electrology organizations as well as St. Pius Women's Guild, University Women's Organization, ABWA and Altrusa Club.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Bernard Goellner of Lafayette; her son, Karl Goellner and his wife Angie of Fort Worth, TX; her grandchildren, Ethan Goellner and Alexsandra Hurley both of Fort Worth, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Octave Ben Ransonet and Sidonia Segura Ransonet; her daughter, Nancy Eileen Goellner; her brothers, Stanley, Sady and Oswald Ransonet and her sisters, Estelle Roy and Mae Barras.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston St. Lafayette, LA 70503 or St. Pius Women's Guild, P. O. Box 80489 Lafayette, LA 70598.
Pallbearers will be Darryl, Randy and Jon Ransonet, Jimmy Krantz, Gerald Lester and Dane Morvant.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Ransonet and Pete Gray.
David Funeral Home of Loreauville, 118 Main St. (337) 229-8338 is in charge of arrangements.
