Loving Father, Grandfather and Brother Patoutville " Funeral Services will be conducted for Warren Joseph Sigue, Age 82, at 11:00AM Wednesday March 12, 2008 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Father Donovan Labbe officiating. Interment will follow at St. Nicholas Mausoleum. Visitation will be Wednesday from 8:00AM until funeral time at St. Nicholas Catholic Church. A praying of the Rosary will be conducted at 10:00AM. He died Friday March 7, 2008 at 4:55PM at his residence in Patoutville. A native and lifelong resident of Patoutville Mr. Sigue was a retired sugarcane farmer and a member of The Knights of Peter Claver Council #85. He was also a member of the Grand Marais Riders and the Holy Name Society. Leaving to cherish his memory is his four daughters, Mary Diane Cooper and her husband Arthur G. III and Deborah Boutte all of Grand Marais and Donna M. Sigue and Dinah Strauss and her husband Michael all of Houston, Texas, six sons, Norbert W. Sigue of Franklin, James w. Pookie Sigue and his wife Mary Ruth, John W. Boo Sigue, Patrick W. Sigue and his wife Jolyn and Wesley Sigue all of Grand Marais and Troy Sigue of Houston, Texas, Seven grandchildren; Gerald Strauss of MAFB, New Jersey Jacques and Meagan Strauss of Houston, Texas, Nina Boutte of New Orleans, Brandy and James Sigue II of Grand Marais and Matthew Levo of Houston, Texas, three great grandchildren; Sierra, Ethan and Jianna Strauss of MAFB, New Jersey and a special son; Chandrashaker Uchil of New Iberia and three brothers; Roland, Donald and Joseph Sigue, Jr. all of Grand Marais. He was preceded in death by his wife; Verna Lewis Sigue, his parents; Joseph W. and Agnes Olivier Sigue and one brother; Lurry Sigue. Pallbearers will be Norbert, James, John, Patrick, Wesley and Troy Sigue. Honorary pallbearers will be Roland, Donald, and Joseph Sigue, Jr., Arthur Cooper III, Michael Strauss, Lloyd Lewis, Horace Esnault and Chandrashaker Uchil.
