Anthony L. Vallot

Abbeville - Funeral Services will be held for Mr. Anthony "Tony" Leon Vallot, 72, on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Abbeville. Visitation will begin on Friday, July 25, 2008 begining at 4:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00OPM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, July 26, 2008 begining at 8:00AM until services.

A native and resident of Vermillion Parish, Mr. Vallot passed away on July 23,2008 at 10:15AM at Abbeville General Hospital. He was a long-time and dedicated sugar cane farmer in Vermillion Parish.

He is survived by five sons, Kenneth Vallot of Abbeville, Marlin Vallot of Abbeville, Carl Vallot of Abbeville, Johnathan Vallot of Chicago, and Anthony Vallot Jr.; daughter Melanie Vallot of Tampa, FL; 23 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Melder Taylor and Peter Vallot; his brother, Peter Vallot Jr. and his son, Steven Casey Vallot.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kerance Vallot, Damien Jackson Vallot, Robbert Jefferson, Naylen Comeaux Vallot, Quailyn Brown Vallot and Fabian Huntsberry Vallot.
