Loreauville " Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Loto Louviere, Sr. the former Leah Berthelot, 90, on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Buddy Breaux officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 8:00 AM until services and a rosary will be prayed at 9:00 AM in the funeral home.

A native of St. Martinville, resident of New Iberia and a former longtime resident of Loreauville, Mrs. Louviere died on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at 12:10 AM in a New Iberia nursing home. Mrs. Louviere will be remembered for her cooking, especially her wonderful white beans and her unwavering devotion to her husband.

She is survived her sons, Irving Louviere and his wife Agnes; Loto Louviere, Jr. and his wife Gail and Larry Louviere and his wife Connie and his daughter, Linda Guillot and her husband Jerry all of Loreauville. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and soon to be expected 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Loto J. Louviere, Sr.; her parents, Bernard Berthelot and Elda Barrilleaux Berthelot; her grandsons, Kenneth Louviere and Francois Guillot; her brothers, Camile, Simon, Fernest, Louis and John Berthelot and her sister, Lelia Gaudet.

Pallbearers will be Reynolds, Vin, Warren, Jeremy and Brent Louviere and Jude Elliot.

Honorary pallbearers will be T. K. Hall and Christian Guillot.
