Classic Grandmother Loreauville "Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Willard Wilson, Sr. the former Edna Simoneaux, Age 84, at 11:00AM Tuesday March 25, 2008 at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Father Buddy Breaux officiating. Interment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in New Iberia. Visitation will be Monday March 24, 2008 from 11:00AM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Tuesday from 8:00AM until service time. She died Tuesday March 18, 2008 at 1:36PM at St. Vincent Hospital East in Birmingham, Alabama. A native of Patterson and a longtime resident of Loreauville Mrs. Wilson was living in Hanceville, Alabama. She enjoyed quilting and working in her yard. She loved cooking for her family. Survivors include two daughters; Rosie W. Gil and husband Robert of Hanceville, Alabama and June W. Prince of New Iberia, five sons; Dale Wilson and wife Debra of Ricohoc, Hale Wilson and wife Rhonda of Hanceville, Alabama, Harry Wilson and wife Kathleen of Lake Charles, Jackie Wilson of Patterson and Willard Wilson, Jr. and wife Paulette of Coteau, one brother and one sister Rudy Simoneaux and Blanche S. Sons both of Patterson, 23 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Willard Wilson, Sr., her parents Octave and Effie Arcement Simoneaux, a son-in-law Fred Prince and a grandson Justin Wilson. Pallbearers will be Christopher Wilson, Dawayne Wilson, Francis Gil, Dale Wilson, Jr., Anthony Wilson and Shane Wilson. David Funeral Home 118 Main Street, Loreauville, La.
