Wesley Paul Vincent, Jr.

New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Wesley Paul "Bubba"Vincent, Jr., Age 54, at 3:00PM Monday March 24, 2008 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Jim Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum. Visitation will be Sunday March 23, 2008 from 2:00PM until10:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Monday from 8:00AM until service time. He died Friday March 21, 2008 at 1:40AM at his residence in Erath.

A native of New Iberia Mr. Vincent was a resident of Erath. He was Chief Engineer for Tidewater Marine for years. He was a graduate of New Iberia Senior High School and a veteran of the U.S.Navy.

Survivors include his wife; Patricia Picard Vincent of Erath, two daughters; April Vincent Masters and husband Julius III of Biloxi, Mississippi and Ashton Marie Vincent of Erath, one son; Kenneth Wayne Vincent of Erath, parents; Wesley Sr. and Grace Schaubert Vincent of New Iberia, grandchildren; Harley Vincent , Gini Masters, Julius Masters IV and Talia Masters all of Biloxi, Mississippi and Dakota Hutcherson of Florida, one brother; Hercules Vincent of New Iberia and one sister; Sherry Vincent of Broussard.

He was preceded in death by one grandchild Gentry Paul Hildreth, his maternal grandparents; Sidney Pete and Gabrielle Rogers Schaubert, his paternal grandmother; Hermia Mina Tauzin Johnson and his paternal grandfather Adolph Vincent, two brothers; Tracy and Chadwick Vincent, , his father-in-law; Rennis L. Picard and his mother-in-law; Jerry Hernandez Walker.

Pallbearers will be Randy Picard, Kenneth Vincent, Julius Masters III, David Romero, Jeremy Daigle, and Guy Schaubert. Honorary pallbearers will be Olton Broussard, Hercules Vincent, Harley Vincent and Gini Masters.
