Lafayette- A Mass of Christian Burial for Wilbur Wil Monceaux, 68, will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at 12:00PM at St. Anne Catholic Church of Youngsville with Fr. Jason Mouton officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 31, 2008 from 12:00PM until 10:00PM, with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM, and will resume on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 from 8:00AM until time of service. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Coteau. Mr. Monceaux, a native of Rayne and a resident of Youngsville, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 4:50PM at Iberia Medical Center. He loved to paint, fish and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Madeline Migues Monceaux; two sons, Audie Boutte, Sr. and Jason Boutte and his wife Shelly; a daughter Belinda and her husband Kevin Migues; nine brothers and sisters, Howard Monceaux, Shirley Monceaux, Mary Trahan, James "Jimmy" Dalton Monceaux, Barbara Monceaux Zimmerman, Shirlene Flores, Joyclynn Landry, Patti Monceaux Gass and Leonard Monceaux; ten grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Molton Monceaux and Eunice Istre Monceaux. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Blake Boutte, Audie Boutte, Jr., Damian Marks, Greg Boutte, Lance Boutte, Dalyan Marks, Cody Migues and Christian Migues. Honorary Pallbearers will be Audie Boutte, Sr., Jason Boutte, Kevin Migues, Wayne Trahan, Ron Migues, Derrick Thibodeaux, Tlynn Monceaux, Andres Carrasco, Heather Carrasco, Brianna Carrasco, Belinda Migues, Jessica Boutte, Ashley Boutte, Blaze Boutte, Julie Savoy, Hayden Boutte, Kylie Boutte, Lacy Boutte, Shirley Monceaux, Joycline Landry, Patti Gass, Mary Trahan, Shelly Boutte and Brady Dugas. David Funeral Home of Lafayette will be handling arrangements.
