JEANERETTE ~ Services for Mrs. Claude Savoy, the former Lillie Mae Guillotte, 92, will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 6, 2008 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Drew Rousse officiating. Interment will follow in St. Johns Cemetery. Visitation will be observed Saturday, September 6, 2008 from 10:00 AM until service at David Funeral Home. A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Savoy died at 1:20 PM Sunday, August 31, 2008, in an Alexandria care facility. Lillie Mae was a former member of the Catholic Daughters, The Ladies Altar Society, The Rosary Group and the 50 plus club. She is survived by her two sons, Effron J. Savoy of Baldwin, and Tilly J. Savoy of Jeanerette; 10 grandchildren, Bart Savoy, Tessa S. Champagne, Michael L. Savoy, Scott Savoy, Mark Savoy, Kim Boudreaux, Debra Bouillion, Kevin Savoy, Karen Leleux and Christine Kennard; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Savoy was preceded in death by, her husband; Claude Savoy, her parents; Moise Guillotte, Sr. and Olympe Derise Guillotte, her brothers; Moise, Jr. and Relius Guillotte and one sister; Mrs. Curtis Bernice G. Louviere. Pallbearers will be family and friends. David Funeral Home of Jeanerette, 400 Provost St. (337)276-5151, is in charge of the arrangements.
