New Iberia- Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Walter D. Tatum the former Juanita Collins, at 1:00PM Monday April 7, 2008 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Bullock officiating. Interment will be at Holy Family Mausoleum. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00AM until service time. She died Wednesday April 2, at 8:10PM in a local hospital. A native of Ada, Oklahoma she had been a resident of New Iberia for many years. She was a life member of Eureka Chapter 65 Order of Eastern Star of Bunkie, La. She was also a practical nurse for 17 years and a member of the New Iberia Garden Club. Survivors include a niece, Jo Ann Keenan of Ada, Oklahoma, two nephews; Lloyd and Floyd Burk of Ada, Oklahoma and a special friend Toni Simoneaud of New Iberia. She was preceded in death by her husband; Walter D. Tatum, parents; Sam Colbert Collins and Vera Lee Renshaw Collins, sister; Oleta C. Burk and brother; William Bill Collins. Pallbearers will be family and friends. David Funeral Home, 1101 Trotter St., New Iberia, La. (337) 369-6336 is in charge of arrangements.
