Erath " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Louis Toups, Sr.,70, at 3:00PM Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, with Fr. Wayne Duet officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, April 7, 2008 from 3:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM and will resume on Tuesday from 8:00AM until Service. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.

A native and resident of Erath, Mr. Toups died at 7:02AM on Friday, April 5, 2008 at Eastridge Nursing Home. He enjoyed watching television, and spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends. He worked as a Insurance Salesman for Mutual of Omaha, and served his country in the U. S. Army.

Survivors include his four sons, John Toups of Lafayette, Louis Toups, Jr. and his wife Stacy of Houma, Marty Toups and his wife Jenny of Erath, and Joey Toups of Franklin; and one daughter Marla T. Dugas of Abbeville.

He is preceded in death by his wife Marlene M. Toups, and his parents Eustis Conrad Toups and Oza MarieToups Toups.

Pallbearers will be John Toups, Louis Toups, Jr., Marty Toups, Joey Toups, Tyler Toups, and Trevor Toups, with Honorary Pallbearers being Alec Toups and Austin Toups
