Lafayette " A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville, for Mrs. Lamar Temple, the former Marion Mary Ann Dorothy Hughes, at 2:00PM. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 10:00AM until service time at David Funeral Home of Lafayette. The Rev. Lambert will be the officiant.

Interment will be at St. Anne Cemetery.

A native of Eldorado, Arkansas and a resident of Lafayette, Mrs. Temple loved spending time at her camp in Arkansas and loved to fish. "Mary Ann" died on April 7, 2008 at 8:46AM at her residence in Lafayette.

Mary Ann is survived by her three daughters; Angela Broussard and her companion Bart Boudreaux of Lafayette, Ramona Bates and her husband Jan Brian of Lafayette and Eva Bridges and her husband John of Broussard; grandchildren; Rachel Mayers and her husband John of Lafayette, Joshua Folse of Broussard and Jessica Bates of Lafayette and one brother, Johnny Hughes of Eldorado, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her husband Lamar Temple; her parents, Charles Marion Hughes and Dorothy Rachael Hawkins Hughes; a brother Roy Hughes and a grandson, Christopher Lee Roberts.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Folse, Jan Brian Bates, John Mayers, John Bridges, Bart Boudreaux and Johnny Hughes. Karl Broussard will serve as Honorary pallbearer.
