Carol Schueler Bourque

New Iberia"Funeral services for Carol Ann Schueler Bourque, 64, will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. in David Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor James Latiolais, Jr. will officiate. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum, Coteau.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 from 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home, and will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home.

Mrs. Bourque passed away on Friday, September 12, 2008 at 12:15 A.M. in a New Iberia hospital.

A native of Baltimore, Mrs. Bourque had lived in New Iberia for many years. She was a member of the Lutheran faith. She enjoyed spending the day watching soap operas, and she was an avid animal lover who loved caring for her granddogs , especially Scooby. Mrs. Bourques greatest joy in life, though, was spending time with and caring for her grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Jarwin Junior Bourque, Jr. and wife, Star of New Iberia, John J.B. Bourque and wife, Regina of New Iberia, Raymond Bourque and wife, Suzette of Delcambre, and Richard Ricky Bourque and wife, Emily of New Iberia; grandchildren, Brian Bourque, Alicia Bourque, Heather Hebert, Eric Dinette, Dustin Renard, Blake Barras, Caleb Latiolais, Lacie Bourque, and Michael Bourque, Stacia Bourque, Madalynn Bourque, and Dustin Bourque, all of New Iberia, and Blair Bourque, Brandon Bourque, and Brock Bourque, all of Delcambre; sister, Beverly LaCotti of Baltimore, MD; brothers, Richard Schueler of Baltimore, MD and Henry Martin Schueler, III of Baltimore, MD; aunt, Margaret Krantz of Baltimore, MD; and special friends, Charmane Latiolais and Betsy Arsement of New Iberia.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Henry Martin Schueler, Jr and Doris Krantz Schueler; and brother, John H. Schueler.

Serving as pallbearers are Jarwin Bourque, Jr., John Bourque, Raymond Bourque, Richard Bourque, Brian Bourque, and Brandon Bourque. Named as honorary pallbearers are Michael Bourque and Caleb Latiolais.
