Loving Mother, Sister and Aunt Loreauville " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Larry Louis Melancon the former Susan Susie Crochet, Age 36, at 11:00AM Thursday April 17, 2008 at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Father Buddy Breaux officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00AM until 10:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume Thursday from 8:00AM until time of service. She died Monday April 7, 2008 at 11:55AM in a local hospital. A native and lifelong resident of Loreauville Susan loved angels and collected them. She enjoyed writing poetry and helping other people. She loved her children, family and her dogs Minnie and T-Pup . She also enjoyed listening to her daddys music. Survivors include her children; Logan S. Melancon and Chassidy R. Melancon both of Loreauville, her mother; Gertrude Chataigner Crochet of Loreauville, her sisters; Theresa C. Broussard and husband Joseph of Coteau Holmes and Gail C. Robin and husband Danny of Loreauville, brothers; Perry J. Crochet, Tommy J. Crochet and wife Charlotte Lajaunie and Pierre G. Crochet all of Loreauville, Godchildren; Nicole E. Robin and Mason A. Benoit both of Loreauville, father-in-law Larry L. Melancon, Sr. of Parks, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, two brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law, mother-in-law and grand mother-in-law Theresa Lasseigne of Catahoula. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Louis Melancon, Jr., father; Pierre G. Crochet, Sr., brother; Steve A. Crochet, Sr. and nephew Steve A. Crochet, Jr. Pallbearers will be Tommy Sr., Tommy Jr., Perry and Rocky Crochet, Joshua Broussard and Danny Robin. Honorary pallbearers will be Logan, Larry Jr. and Nicholas Melancon, Terry and Joseph Broussard, Jr., Wilder Breaux, Neal Benoit , Pierre Crochet, Jr. and Marcel T-Boy Theriot.
