View Video Tribute Abbeville--After just over 30 years of loving and working, caring and trying, laughing and joking, struggling and triumphing, Brent Jude Touchet, an Abbeville resident, died on Sunday, April 20, 2008, in Vermilion Parish. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM, Friday, April 25, 2008 at St. Marcellus Catholic Church in Rynella, LA with Reverend Monsignor Keith DeRouen officiating. Internment will follow in the Holy Family Mausoleum. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 5:00PM until 10:00PM with a Rosary recited at 7:00PM at Davids Funeral Home in Abbeville. Visitation will continue on Friday, April 25, 2008 from 8:00AM until the time of Service. Brents legacy lives on in the ready smile of his son and the compassion of his daughter. He loved the outdoors, drag racing, and spending time with his family. A good cook, he loved to party in the company of friends. He is survived by his loving wife Kaima Thomas Touchet of Abbeville; daughter Baily Michelle Touchet of New Iberia; son Evan Roch Touchet of Abbeville; mother and father Gail and Dalton Touchet of New Iberia; sisters Monica Steinman of Lafayette and Kim Touchet of New Iberia; his mother-in-law and father-in-law Cherrie Griffin Thomas and Raymond Thomas of Abbeville; three nephews, Sean Steinman of Lafayette, and Jake Delino and Draik Delino both of Henry; one niece Lani Thompson of Henry; a sister-in law Keysa Delino and her husband Bart of Henry; and a brother-in-law Rame Thomas and his wife Ivy of Abbeville. Brent was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Wilton J. and Rita LaBiche Broussard and his maternal grandmother Helen Cabrol Touchet. Pallbearers will be Sean Steinman, Coby Sherman, Ryan Dunbar, Rame Thomas, Kendall Duplantis, and Greg Poimbeouf.
