Jeanerette " Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Gerald M. Hebert, Sr., the former Anna Mae Guillotte, 72, Monday, Aug. 6, 2007 at 1:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Mike Guidry officiating. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Visitation will begin on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007 at 3:00 PM until services on Monday, the funeral home will remain open all night Sunday. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Sunday at 6:30 PM.

A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Hebert loved eating out, family gatherings, talking on her phone, traveling, spending time with her friends Bill and Rose Jones and getting her hair done by her cousin, Rita Broussard.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald M. Hebert, Sr. of Jeanerette; daughters, Elizabeth Liz Hebert and her husband Tommy, Marilyn Derise and her husband Ted, Sr., Veronica L. Segura and her husband Randy, Sr. all of Jeanerette and Tammy C. Romero and her husband Michael, Sr. of New Iberia; sons, James Jimmy Leonard, Jr. and his wife Paula of New Iberia, Gerald M. Hebert, Jr., Kent A. Hebert, Todd D. Hebert and his wife Melissa, Ted Hebert and Ben Hebert all of Starks; brothers, Nelson Guillotte of Jeanerette and Earl Guillotte, Sr. of Lake Charles; and a sister, Eula Segura and her husband Larry of Jeanerette. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hector and Louisiana Broussard Guillotte; daughter, Clara Leonard; great grandchild, Paige Gros; brothers, Wilson, Lester and Chester Guillotte; sisters, Linda Guillotte and Luna Duhon and her first husband, James Leonard, Sr..

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Tommy Frederick, Drew Hebert, Ted Derise, II, Randy Segura, Jr., Chad Segura, Michael Romero, Jr., Travis Romero and Derek Leonard.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Cooper, Dwight Segura, James Leonard, Jr., Randy Segura, Sr., Tommy Hebert, Ted Derise, Sr., Michael Romero, Sr., Earl Guillotte, Sr., Nelson Guillotte, Jacques Stevens, Jr. and Larry Gaudet, Jr..

The family would like to thank the Acadian Ambulance Medics, Iberia Medical Center Emergency Room Staff and Dr. Greco, the I.C.U. Staff especially Shawntina and Sherry, Dr. James Falterman, Jr., Dr. Paul Gulotta and Dr. Darvin Hales.
