Services for Mr. Albert Chester Landry, Sr., 95, will be conducted at 2:30 PM Saturday, April 26, 2008 at David Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Delcambre.

Visiting hours will be observed Friday, April 25, 2008 from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 7:00 PM at David Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 8:00 AM until the time of service.

A native of Erath and a resident of Bayou Tigre, Mr. Landry died at 8:21 PM Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at his residence in Bayou Tigre.

Mr. Landry was a taxi cab driver with Southern Cabs for over 30 years.

He is survived by his children, Ruby Landry Louviere of New Iberia, Andrew Landry of Erath, Jesse John Landry, Sr. of New Iberia, Barbara Ann Landry Saucier of Erath, Lucille Landry Horton of Jeanerette, Albert C. Landry, Jr. of Erath, Willis Landry of New Iberia, Delores Dee Landry of New Iberia, Shirley L. Delahoussaye of New Iberia, and Jeanelle L. Romero of Coteau; 29 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Landry was preceded in death by his wife, Elgie Hebert Landry; parents, Oliaus and Emma Dubois Landry; and children, Stephen Joseph Landry, Isaac Landry, Hilary Buck Paul Landry, Grace Landry LeBlanc,

Pallbearers will be James Saucier, III, Clint Saucier, Tony LeBlanc, Carl Landry, Justin Romero and Cord Landry.

Honorary pallbearers will be Shade Saucier, Andrew Landry, Jesse Landry, Albert Landry, Jr., Willis Landry, Burke Saucier, Jr., B.J. Saucier, Trayton DeRouen and Travis Landry.
