Agnes Bailey Langlinais

New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Francis Langlinais the former Agnes Bailey, Age 91 at 11:00AM Thursday December 18, 2008 at St. Peters Catholic Church with Father Charles Langlois officiating. Interment will follow in St. Annes Mausoleum in Youngsville. Visitation will be Wednesday December 17, 2008 from 3:00PM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume Thursday from 8:00AM until service time.

A native and resident of New Iberia and longtime resident of Youngsville, Mrs. Langlinais died Monday December 15, 2008 in a New Iberia health care facility. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and being with her family.

Survivors include her son; James Jim Langlinais and wife Brenda of New Iberia, one daughter; Loretta L. Wilson and husband George of San Antonio, Texas, two brothers; Raymond Bailey of New Iberia and Clarence Bailey of North Carolina, two sisters; Judy Babineaux of Coteau and Marine Bonin of New Iberia, grandchildren; Kevin Langlinais of New Iberia, Dr. Brandon Langlinais of San Francisco, Pamela W. Hatch of San Antonio, Texas, and Andrea Billeaud of Broussard, great grandchildren; Emily Langlinais of New Iberia, Brittany Wilson of Houston, Texas, Jason and Lauren Hatch of San Antonio, Texas, Paul J. Billeaud of Broussard and John T. Langlinais of New Iberia.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Francis Beb Langlinais, her parents; Ivy and Josephine Lopez Bailey, one brother; Wilton Bailey, two sisters; Inez Vincent and Joy Rita Sorrell and a grandson; Bryan Wilson.

Pallbearers will be Jim Langlinais, George Wilson, Dr. Brandon Langlinais, Kevin Langlinais, Brian Billeaud and Raymond Bailey. Honorary pallbearers will be Clarence Bailey, Dr. Mark Hatch and C.J. Babineaux.
