Erath - A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Mavan Landry, the former Edith Dubois, 91, will be held on Friday, November 9, 2007 at 3:00PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church with Fr. Wayne Duet officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until time of service. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum. Mrs. Landry, a native of Erath and a resident of Abbeville, died Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 12:20PM at a local nursing home. She is survived by her two daughters, Wanda Reed of Erath and Margie Touchet and her husband Ronald of Erath; numerous grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mavan Landry; her parents, Germaine Dubois and Alidia Peltier Dubois, three daughters, Leta Landry, Claradean Fredrick and Lukress Lemaire; a sister, Leta Landry; and a brother, Curfy Dubois. Pallbearers will be family and friends. David Funeral Home of Erath will be handling arrangements.
