Jeanerette " Funeral Services will be conducted for Zachary Zack Owen Freeman, Age 22, at 11:00AM Friday, May 16, 2008 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Jody Simoneaux officiating. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday May 15, 2008 from 4:00PM until 10:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Friday from 8:00AM until service time. He died Monday at 1:15PM in a Lafayette healthcare facility.

A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette, Zack was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved working and the outdoors in general. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited.

Survivors include his parents; Larry and Linda Martin Freeman of Jeanerette, two brothers Chad Freeman of Texas and Josh Freeman of Jeanerette, one sister; Nicole F. Sistrunk and husband Greg of Jeanerette, his Maternal grandfather; Ronald Martin, his lifelong girlfriend and the love of his life; Katie LaBiche of New Iberia, one aunt; Rhonda Martin of Jeanerette and two uncles; Mark and Glenn Martin both of Jeanerette.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother; Mathilde Dooley Martin, his paternal grandparents; Owen and Zelleine Byrd Freeman and an Uncle Douglas Freeman.

Pallbearers will be Dominic and Garret Martin, Chad Freeman, Matt MeKash, Dexter Landry and Tristan James. Honorary pallbearers will be Josh, Douglas, Jr., Ryan, Trevin, Paul Joseph, Shana, Matthew and Brittany Freeman, Micah and Hannah Savoy, Sage, Mark and Glenn Martin, Slade Landry, Nick Gravois, Mac Sonnier, Phillip MeKash, Ray Coughlin, Nickey Landry, Coty Laliberte, Greg Sistrunk, Wesley Baudoin, and Michael LaBiche.
